Face-to-face is back in QLD

The first face-to-face workshop for the National Tour was held recently in Surfers Paradise. Dr Gayle Hemsley and Dr Alison Holm presented to 25 participants on Working effectively with Australian multilingual children. Speech Pathology Australia’s On Demand Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) learning program was released at the end of May. The program was developed by a highly respected team of speech pathologists including, Dr Mary Claessen, Associate Professor Suze Leitão, Associate Professor Natalie Munro, Associate Professor Tanya Serry, and Associate Professor Marleen Westerveld. The new program has five modules: Module 1: What is Developmental Language Disorder? (Free for Speech Pathology Australia members) Module 2: Diagnosis of Developmental Language Disorder Module 3: Developmental Language Disorder in under 5s Module 4: Developmental Language Disorder in adolescence Module 5: Reporting and advocacy for people with Developmental Language Disorder (Free for Speech Pathology Australia members). The new DLD program is accessible only from the Speech Pathology Australia Learning Hub.
