SPA Ethics Board update

Current Ethics Board: Chair

Thank you to all members who voted in the recent elections for two vacant elected member positions on the SPA Ethics Board. The successful nominees are David Kinnane, who will serve his second term in this role and Gaenor Dixon who will serve her first term in this role. Additionally, two senior members on the Ethics Board have recently been reappointed for additional terms, Helen Smith for a third term and Dr Nerina Scarinci for a second term. Donna Dancer and Cez Green were also successful in seeking reappointment to community representative roles, this will be Donna’s third term on the Ethics Board and Cez’s second. Dr Grant Meredith was appointed to a vacant community representative position. SPA members benefit from the significant contribution of time and knowledge of those on the Ethics Board, and we thank ongoing and past Ethics Board members for their dedication and commitment to upholding the ethical standards of the speech pathology profession and supporting members to embrace proactive ethical decision making.
