• supervision; • NDIS; and, • professional self-regulation.

These resources are accessible to the public and, while they were developed for the benefit of students, may contain information useful to early career professionals and others who are interested in the profession. Ready 4 Work is intended to be a dynamic resource. The series will be revisited to address new issues and information in time for 2020’s graduating class of speech pathologists.

Early Career REFERENCE GROUP

Record numbers apply to the ECRG

A record number of Association members recently submitted applications to serve on the Early Career Reference Group (ECRG). This group of early career professionals work with Speech Pathology Australia to identify and address the unique needs of new graduates and early career speech pathologists. Group members serve a term of two years and are involved in a variety of projects to benefit their peers. The ECRG was pleased to see this level of enthusiasm to contribute to the group’s mission and look forwarding to welcoming a new cohort in January. The application process closed on 31 October and new group members will be advised that their application was successful in early December. Members can learn more about the Early Career Reference Group on the Association website. Early career members are also invited to engage with the ECRG and other colleagues on SPA’s private Early Career Member Community on Facebook. Nathan Cornish-Raley Professional Support Advisor
