Virtual national conference The sessions will be a mix of pre-recorded presentations with live question time and online workshops via Zoom, so we recommend that you download it on to your device prior to the conference. Click this link to sign up for free www.zoom.us . Time will be allocated for further discussion with speakers, exhibitors, catching up with friends or joining the many chat groups. While you be able to view various sections as they are updated on the platform around early May, the actual virtual national conference will not go live until 10.00am AEST on Monday 31 May 2021. Social event A Taste of the Territory The 2021 Conference Planning Committee (CPC) based in the Northern Territory, is excited to welcome virtual conference delegates from around the world to a celebration of all that our Darwin home has to offer. The CPC invites you to bring your own drink and nibbles and join them and host Amy Hetherington for a 'Taste of the Territory'. Amy Hetherington is Darwin’s most loved MC and comedian. Her bright and energetic style is contagious and has helped her become a favourite in the comedy scene. She has sold out shows across the Northern Territory and around Australia, including the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Amy’s shows are known for their positivity, honest and witty observations, and of course, her high-energy vibe! Expression of Interest Advisory Group: Speech pathology in the early years Speech Pathology Australia is seeking expressions of interest to join an advisory group to engage and support speech pathologists working within the Early Childhood Sector. The advisory group would support new SPA initiatives and projects within this sector. Selection criteria • Member of Speech Pathology Australia • Clinical or academic experiences/interest in topic area • Ability to participate in meetings and contribute to advocacy efforts, new initiatives and projects with this sector. Please complete an expression of interest of 250 – 500 words outlining experience/ interest related to the practice area and/or publications. Participants will be selected based on a mix of experiences relevant to the practice area.
