The Learning Hub launched on 11 May 2020 with over 11,500 downloads of our program to date. The Learning Hub features a range of educational activities including Communities of Practice programs, LIVE Online, New Professional Standards, Queensland Legacy Fund, TAPED Online, Speak Up Podcast, Telepractice resources, and Webisodes. Be sure to visit the Hub regularly as we upload new programs weekly. Telepractice Introducing Speech Pathology Australia’s most comprehensive online learning program, Providing family- centered paediatric speech pathology services using Telepractice by Dr Monique Waite and Associate Professor Nerina Scarinci. This 5 hour self-paced program covers the benefits of, and evidence for, telepractice services; important considerations including technology, legislation, funding and payment options; implementation of services such as preparing staff and families; preparing the physical environment for telepractice services and adapting speech pathology activities; and engaging and supporting families. New to LIVE Online LIVE Online is the Association’s new way of delivering live workshops online. One day workshops have been broken into 2-3hr sessions held over several days. Workshops often have a pre-workshop activity or action learning task to complete between sessions. LIVE Online is a great way for participants to engage interactive workshops and be part of a Learning Community. New workshops are opening regularly, keep an eye out on the Learning Hub for announcements.
