Speechie Library Talks kick off in November More than 150 members will visit their local library in November as part of the Association's second annual Speechie Library Talks campaign. From Broome to Hobart, and many places in between the role of speech pathologists in language and literacy development will be featured at local and school libraries. The Speechie Library Talks provide a valuable opportunity to raise awareness and for members to interact more with their local community. All current and confirmed events are listed on the Speechie Library Talks webpage. and writing, a track record of publishing research in international journals, and an understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Previous experience in editing academic publications or being a member of journal editorial boards is highly desirable. An honorarium is paid to the Co-Editor (or employer if required) on an annual basis. International Journal of Speech- Language Pathology Co-Editor Position Commencing January 2022 Following three and a half years as Editor in Chief / Co- Editor of the International Journal of Speech Language Pathology (IJSLP), Associate Professor Anne Whitworth PhD will be concluding her term in December 2021. Speech Pathology Australia is now seeking applications for the co-editor position from suitable candidates for a two-year term. This valuable and strategic role will continue to enhance the growth and international positioning of the Association’s journal. Working closely with the IJSLP Editor in Chief, Associate Editor and Executive Board, Speech Pathology Australia’s Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer and external publishers, the Co- Editor will assist in overseeing the direction, standard and promotion of the journal as well as ensuring high quality issues are published in accordance with policies and timelines. Applications are sought from members who have demonstrated experience and a passion for research and publications. The candidate should have achieved a higher degree, hold a rank of Associate Professor or above, experience and demonstrated skill in editing Applications sought

The Guest Editor will coordinate the review process and selection of high quality papers to be included in the International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology (IJSLP) to be published in June 2023. Each paper will be between 6,000-7,000 words in length and reflect the conference theme, Beyond Borders. Previous editorial experience is highly recommended.
