Revision of the SPA Code of Ethics Thank you and more to come! The work on a major review of the Code of Ethics continues as we head towards the end of the year, and the launch of the revised 2020 version of the Code of Ethics is planned during the National Conference next May. A big thank you to all members who contributed to the survey and focus groups this year. Over 830 members and external stakeholders have contributed to the review so far! All input was analysed for content and themes, then applied by the Ethics Board when the sub-committee met in October to draft the revised version. The Board of Directors viewed the first draft in November, and the subsequent draft is now being reviewed by a group of members with previous experience on the Ethics Board and legal counsel. The penultimate version will be published early in 2020 for final comments, keep an eye on e-news and social media for notification of when you can view it again. Ethics Podcasts

Publication of podcasts on ethical topics has commenced, and the library will continue to expand in 2020. we are always grateful for suggestions for useful topics of interest – please email Trish or Nadia at National Office.
