New learning hub

In 2020, Speech Pathology Australia will launch a new learning platform! The platform will provide access to quality learning activities, developed and presented by leading educators, researchers and clinicians. It will connect you to self-directed and personalised professional development experiences, designed to enhance your speech pathology knowledge and skills. The new platform will provide multi-modal learning opportunities including face-to-face, blended and online events as well as podcasts, webisodes, National Tour information and a learning resource centre. Best of all, increased search functionality will make it easier to find programs best suited to your learning needs. We are also pleased to announce our new Communities of Practice program in 2020. You will be able to join an ongoing social learning group of your choice where case studies, concerns, challenges, or a passion for a topic, can be shared to deepen knowledge and consolidate workshop learning on an ongoing basis. Our Communities of Practice groups are led by SPA Advisors and educators who steward discussions for one hour per month over a six-month period. More information will be provided in the new year. Keep checking back as we will regularly add new courses.
