In May, when restrictions around COVID-19 were being fully implemented in South Australia, the Branch got creative and held our first ever virtual trivia night! With a drink in hand and some friendly (or not…) competition, it was a fabulous way to spend an evening and reconnect with colleagues. Participants from metropolitan Adelaide, regional SA and one from Victoria were welcomed to the event – held on the evening of May 19 - with an invitation also extended to our colleagues in the Northern Territory. The trivia night was held via Zoom and Kahoot, which is an excellent platform for engaging with others using a trivia format in real time. The questions were devised by a small team of Branch Executive members and covered a wide range of adult and paediatric practice areas. There was a limit of 30 seconds per question to get the answers locked in, finger on the buzzer!

Congratulations went to Emily who took home a $50 Dymocks voucher for answering the most questions correctly, 22 out of 30! Close runners up were the team from the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. Thanks go to Tahlea Pearce, portfolio leader for Member Engagement, who took the lead in organising the event. Below are 15 of the trivia questions – see if you can beat Emily’s average!
