Thank you... To the amazing and conscientious Liz Ward who chaired the Scientific Planning Sub-Committee and the other excellent members of the CPC, Shareen Forsingdal, Nadine Lawson and Karen Nicholls, thank you for all of your contributions, hard work, humour and generosity over the past 18 months – we were a great team together. I would also like to say a special thank you to the student volunteers who worked with Pam on the Conference registration desk, assisted the session chairs and ensured the delegates were attending their selected sessions. SEA change : Synthesize, Evaluate, Act! would not have happened without the planning, endless attention to detail, diligence and efficiency of Pamela Richards, National Conference Manager. Few people consider the enormous amount of ‘behind the scenes’ work that Pam undertakes with patience each year. We wish to extend our sincere and deepest thanks to Pam for her advice and hard work in organising this year’s Conference. We would also like to thank Rebecca Bluschke, an event management student from Victoria University, who worked with Pam leading up to the Conference. We would like to extend a very big thank you to the Council of Speech Pathology Australia and National Office staff for their ongoing support and advice during the Conference planning period. Delegate feedback Survey Thank you to the 462 members who took the time to complete and submit their survey. Congratulations to Rachel Trebilcock from South Australia , who was the lucky winner of the complimentary Conference registration to the 2014 National Conference in Melbourne connections: client.clinician.context. ALL information, be it good or bad, has been carefully collated and identified and will form the basis for a detailed report to Council in August. There will also be direct feedback to the 2014 Melbourne CPC to assist them in their planning processes. And last, but certainly not least, we say a big THANK YOU to the many delegates who joined us on the Gold Coast. We really hope that you found SEA change : Synthesize, Evaluate, Act! a stimulating, challenging, inspiring, and most of all, enjoyable Conference in 2013.
