Sunday 27 May Pre-registration and exhibition 5.00pm – 6.30pm Enjoy a drink after you have collected your registration pack. Take the time to network with your exhibitors, your colleagues and catch-up with old friends before proceeding to the National Wine Centre and the 2018 National Conference Welcome Reception. The winner of the ‘$100 RBar voucher’ will be drawn during the Pre-registration, so please ensure you are in attendance. Monday 28 May Speech Pathology Australia AGM and Award presentations (followed by refreshments) 6.00pm – 7.30pm Help us celebrate the Association's 2017 achievements, and recognise some of the outstanding members of our profession, at the Annual General Meeting. Tuesday 29 May Reconciliation Action Plan 5.45pm – 6.45pm Speech Pathology Australia has embarked on the process of developing a Reconciliation Action Plan. This initiative is outlined in the 2017 – 2019 strategic plan which states that the Association will - ’Develop an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples Reconciliation Action Plan for the Association, including specific initiatives involving people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds on governance and advisory structures’. The forum will provide an informational component, during which you will learn more about the development process and progress made to date. An interactive component will invite your input to the plan. University Staff Reception 5.45pm – 7.00pm University staff are invited to join the Board for drinks and nibbles. Free Night There is an abundance of restaurants near the Adelaide Convention Centre and the 2018 CPC has decided to leave the Tuesday night as a ‘free night’ for delegates to make their own arrangements and explore what this city has to offer. Details announcing various options will be included on the conference website, in the satchel and on the conference app.

As the 2018 I N S P I RE conference draws to an end, join your colleagues and friends to ‘Reach for the Stars’. The Guild Insurance Conference Dinner, to be held in The Panorama Ballroom at the Adelaide Convention Centre, will provide a dazzling end to the I N S P I RE conference with its floor to ceiling windows providing stunning views over the River Torrens and surrounding parklands. The theme for the Conference Dinner is ‘Reach for the Stars’ so come dressed to ‘shine’. Wear a touch of ‘sparkle’ or dress to light up the night. You can dress as simply or as elaborately as you are inspired to do! The Flaming Sambucas will provide entertainment for the evening and an opportunity to dance the night away. Guild Insurance is also sponsoring the photo booth to capture your memories of this night. The Guild Insurance conference dinner is included with all SPA Certified Practising, Non Certified, Re-Entry Member and Non Member full conference registrations. Additional tickets can be purchased for this event.

Reception will be held at the National Wine Centre (NWC). The centre’s unique architecture, designed to represent a wine barrel, has seen it win numerous awards for its use of natural light, earthy metal and wood textures, including the Royal Australian Institute of Architects Award. The NWC is situated alongside the stunning Adelaide Botanical Gardens and a 20 minute walk from the ACC.

Coaches will depart ACC at 6.30pm for a 5 minute drive to the NWC for those delegates who would prefer to ride. Finger food and drinks will be served at NWC, plus the opportunity to network informally with fellow delegates, sponsors and exhibitors. Coaches will return delegates to the ACC at 8.30pm.
