Members have a choice of: 1. 6 month membership and renew again by 1 July 2018 or 2. 18 month membership and renew by 1 July 2019

A suitably qualified person engaged in the activities of speech pathology as a practitioner, administrator, educator, researcher or any combination thereof, for which they receive payment, and who meets the Professional Self Regulation (PSR) requirements.
CERTIFIED PRACTISING MEMBER
A suitably qualified person engaged in the activities of speech pathology as a practitioner, administrator, educator, researcher or any combination thereof, for which they receive payment, but who does not meet the Professional Self Regulation (PSR) requirements.
NON CERTIFIED MEMBER
A suitably qualified person not engaged in the activities of speech pathology as a practitioner, administrator, educator, researcher or any combination thereof. Nor do they receive remuneration for speech pathology activities. A person suitably qualified in speech pathology who, at the time of application, will be engaged in full-time postgraduate study in a course recognised by the Association that will lead to the award of a Postgraduate Diploma, Master Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in speech pathology.
NON PRACTISING MEMBER
FULL-TIME POSTGRADUATE STUDENT MEMBER
A person suitably qualified in speech pathology who is undertaking the Re-entry program to return to practice after a career break of more than five years but less than fifteen.
RE-ENTRY MEMBER
A person currently studying an accredited Australian entry level speech pathology course full time.
STUDENT MEMBER
A person who has ceased speech pathology practice but has held membership of the Association continuously for at least the previous ten years.
